Materials:
- 4-5 carrots
- 1 large potato
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter
- 1 glass of milk or cream
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Chopped parsley or dill (optional)
How to make:
1. Peel, wash and dice the carrots and potatoes. Also chop the onion and garlic.
2. Heat olive oil or butter in a pan. Add chopped onion and garlic and fry until soft.
3. Then add the chopped carrots and potatoes to the pot. Stir-fry for a few minutes.
4. Add the flour and fry for a few more minutes, stirring until the flour changes color slightly.
5. Slowly add the milk or cream, stirring until it becomes a puree.
6. You can optionally puree the puree with a blender or hand blender until smooth.
7. Check the consistency, add more milk or water if needed.
8. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with chopped parsley or dill and serve.
You can serve this delicious and nutritious carrot tarator with main dishes or with soup. Enjoy!
