Cleansing Turmeric and Ginger Tea Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1 slice of lemon (optional)
- Honey or agave syrup (optional, to taste)
Preparation:
1. Boil water in a pot.
2. Add turmeric powder and ginger powder to the boiled water. Mix the mixture well with a wooden spoon or whisk.
3. Boil the mixture on low heat for 10-15 minutes. During this time, the color of the tea will darken and the aroma of the spices will pass into the water.
4. After cooking, remove the tea from the stove and strain it with a strainer or cheesecloth.
5. Optionally, you can add a slice of lemon to add a fresh taste to the tea.
6. You can add honey or agave syrup to taste.
7. Serve the turmeric and ginger tea you have prepared hot.
You can consume this cleansing tea in the morning on an empty stomach or several times throughout the day. Turmeric and ginger have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and can help detoxify the body.
